Poor communication and lack of due diligence

Contacted the seller immediately after I made the purchase to inform them that delivery needs to be a few days after the purchase date as the student will not be on campus/at the apartments to receive the furniture. They still shipped the furniture without checking all correspondence or notifications. They expect us to know when they will make the delivery, but they fail to do due diligence to make sure they have all information they need before shipment or delivery.
