Don't buy

The slats that come with this bed frame are too far apart to support a mattress, especially if the mattress is foam or hybrid. The slats are 9 inches apart whereas supportive and quality ones are 3 inches apart. Because there is such a large gap between each slat, the mattress is not well supported. Even a firm mattress becomes soft because the mattress will sag into the large gap. On top of that, the wood is cheap, soft plywood, not solid wood. I'm not sure why any company would sell such a product. Since the bed is not returnable, I'm having to buy additional slats. I see that most or all of Max and Lily's beds have slats that are far apart so this problem is not unique to this bed. Don't buy!

Beautiful Bed!

This bed was so easy to put together! I did it by myself in about an hour, if that. We got the Blossom Pink and my daughter loves it!

Perfect for my 2 year old

I searched everywhere for a floor bed that would work well for my toddler as we transition her from the toddler bed crib conversion. (We needed the crib for #2 on the way). I waited too long and the bed went out of stock so as soon as it came back I made sure to order it! It was really simple for me to put together by myself, even being around 26 weeks pregnant at the time. I love that it is low to the ground for her to get in by herself, and also because she loves to jump on the bed so now I’m not worried about her falling off a high bed while jumping. The bed seems like it will last a long time so I’ll definitely use it for the baby when the time comes for the toddler to get an upgrade. I would definitely repurchase from Max and Lily.

Toddler floor bed for the win

We've loved this bed for our toddler. We bought two add-on railings for extra security while he's adjusting to the new sleeping arrangement. It's been nice to have a bed that can accommodate a parent on those nights when teething, illness, etc. , are a factor. The support planks do make some noise when I roll over, but I expected that. The setup took about 25 minutes. It had a slight smell at first but wasn't too bad and dissipated quickly. We really appreciate that it's GreenGuard Gold certified and didn't break the bank. Highly recommend.
