Got our twin over twin

Got our twin over twin low bunk bed and my brother and I assembled it in about 2 hours. Quality is just ok, the long bars for the top bunk flex and bend when I lean over the side to put my little one to bed, so there's some concern about the longevity of the piece. And the vertical slats at the end, that enclose the bottom side next to the ladder wiggle and move, so they're in but aren't flush in place, suppose I would need to add some glue then. And the same problem with the end with the ladder, my little one was leaning on that small section of rail and felt it flex and bend, so again, just doesn't seem very strong. Overall it's fine and should do the job for now while they're little but this isn't going to be able to support them much past elementary years.
