Not built to last

If you're considering buying this, just know it unfortunately doesn't hold up well. It's been 2 years and the bed is now rapidly falling apart. I'm shocked and disappointed since we spent so much thinking this was an investment for our kids room. The bottom of the bed snapped a few weeks ago, and the side of the top bunk just broke off from what appears to be a single broken dowel. I'm just glad none of my kids were hurt because that is so unsafe! If I could go back in time, I would not buy this.
