Barrel leg not straight leg

Nice heavy denim, but very large barrel legs and a little short. I will give them to my daughter. I thought they were more of a straight leg.

Stretched out quickly- high-rise above belly butto

I am 5 foot 10, 140 lbs and bought a size 27. Initially these jeans fit , but with the initial wearing, they stretched out more than I would have liked. Even though I am tall, I find that the high rise waistband rises above my waist/belly button and up towards my rib cage when I sit down.
