Amazing kettle!
Electric kettles have been a mainstay in our kitchen for 30 years, and we have tried many brands. We recently stayed at an Airbnb that had this Cuisinart kettle and liked it so much we bought one as soon as we retuned home. We love the choice of heat settings and the keep hot function. It does cost a bit more than some kettles, but the value makes it worth the price.

"Memory feature" is a miss
I've been using one of these at least once a day for two years now, which is probably a positive data point as to its durability. One thing I find funny about electric kettles is that almost every one on the market has its own bizarre design quirk (or several). This kettle is no exception—although I still do find it fine and preferable to most others—because of the feature that when you take it off the base, pour out the water, and then put it back on, the default is for it to start heating again according to the previous setting. So, if there's no water in it, it gets super hot and starts beeping rapidly and making all sorts of ominous clicking and snapping noises. It is hard to imagine why the designers thought this was the correct default. Surely, most of the times one puts a kettle back on its base, it is because one is done using it.

Sturdy, Sleek and So Very Hot
This electric kettle is great for that quick cuppa or afternoon tea. Since I have solar at my house, we try to use electric appliances, and this one fills the bill. I wish there was a way to modify the sounds it makes. I like a quiet kettle...

Perfect water temperature every time!
This is an excellent water-heating kettle for tea drinkers like me, people who many types of tea. Stops me from ruining more delicate types of tea that do not require briskly boiling water.

A good electric kettle for the price
The kettle is sturdy and stainless steel on the inside and outside. Boils quickly. I like the removable filter for cleaning.

Too many bells & whistles!
This kettle has too many buttons, beeps, etc. I had a previous model which was a simple kettle. It had an on/off button, the lid came on and off without pressing a button. Unfortunately I dropped it and it broke. This new model has nine buttons. That’s about eight too many. The more gizmos the more that could go wrong. I just want to boil water!! Also I hate the beeps. When you get up earlier than other people in your home and you’re trying to be quiet the darn kettle beeps when you hit start and beeps when it comes to a boil. Lose the beeps. I do like that it is all and more narrow than the old one but would still go back to the previous model in a heartbeat.

Wish I would have upgraded years ago
This was an excellent purchase! I had no idea the difference using the appropriate temp water would make in French press and tea preparation... plus, the kettle is easy to fill, attractive, and really handy with the auto-on feature so it stays hot for 30 minutes in case you walk away (less energy use!). Highly recommend!

This Kettle Rocks!
The Cuisinart electric kettle is game changer for those not wanting to use their gas range. We drink a lot of coffee and tea. Now I worry less about harmful gas fumes. And kettle works quickly an quietly as promised.
