It should not be described as a mug.

The description and picture of the mugs is misleading. I have mugs that I wanted to match and the mugs that I received were smaller. Perhaps my size mug is no longer available.

Pattern does not match earlier versions

These were bought as replacement pieces for an existing set of French Countryside. Our set was made in a different country from the set we have. The pattern is different.

This platter is a little

This platter is a little bit smaller than the original design, but it also seems sturdier. Note that the most recent iterations of this line are just a slightly different color than the 90's version, maybe a little more yellow, but it is not that noticeable. Overall, probably an improvement in sturdiness and ability to stand up to lots of use.

Not like mine

The pattern is way off the original design. Not very satisfying. I just needed two pieces because of chips on mine.

Mug Rack

This is a very nice mug rack. There is no assembly. It comes out of the box ready to use. It holds large cups and is very sturdy. The top is like a basket to hold coffee products like k-cups or tea bags. Instead, I used it to hold more cups. I’m very happy with this mug rack and highly recommend this purchase. I’m only giving it 4-stars because it took 3 weeks to arrive. Thankful it was not a Christmas gift and that it was a gift to myself.

Differences on these plates are

Differences on these plates are more subtle, so not noticeable to most. Same black wordage on the underside.
