Best coffee maker design
My dad bought my first one of these over 10 years ago. At first, I was irritated at my dad because I had an idea of what a coffee maker should look like and this clearly was not it. I am so glad that Cusinart reimagined the coffee maker. I love this coffee maker. It is easy to program, I wake up to freshly brewed coffee, and the coffee stays hot (2-4 hours depending on which setting you choose) until it comes out. There is no thermal loss, as is usually experienced with carafes. The only downside to this coffeemaker is that because it is not yet ubiquitous, visitors can be a bit flummoxed in the morning when trying to get a cup of coffee.

This is the BEST!
Yes, the gauges don’t accurately display the carafe amount, and yes, if you get a slightly off unit, it will leak, but into the tray. I have owned this exact unit over 20 years!! I ordered a refurbished one from cuisinart, as unfortunately after 10 years!! The carafe, not glass!! Got broken. It was as much to order a refurbished unit, with carafe, as to replace the carafe. At some point I swapped out the units due to age, but then moved and disposed of the original, otherwise I would still prob have a decent working unit! For the investment, I believe 20 some odd years of use AND it’s still in production!! This is the best coffee maker ever!! I would buy this always and forever!! I am not up for pods, I drink too much coffee. But an unbreakable, yes they can break, but not like glass. Mine broke, but due to human errors ! All I can say is it looks good, works good and after 20 some odd years, IS STILL IN PRODUCTION ,
Great Coffeemaker
This is a great coffeemaker. The convenience of not having to deal with a carafe is great. The coffee is nice and hot and tastes really good.

I keep purchasing this model
This is the third purchase I have made of this same coffeemaker over the last 12ish years. I use it every day and it always delivers a great cup of coffee. Easily programmable for timed brewing. It’s the only coffeemaker that I will purchase. I have even recommended it to family members…who have purchased it also.

Good design but product is not long lasting
On my third one that has died. They are great while they last but this one lasted 11 months. I will enact the warranty but it's disappointing that the product doesn't last. I like the design and that it doesn't have a carafe which is why I keep buying it. But maybe I should look at other brands.

Great coffee machine!
The DCC-3000 model coffee machine is great! We spent a weekend at a friend's house and they had this model. As soon as I got home, I ordered it. I am sad to see this model being discontinued, I only hope this means they are going to maybe update it. The only thing that would need updated is the area where you place the coffee cup. It is not tall enough to place a taller mug underneath, but this isn't a deal breaker for us. Making this machine any taller might be problematic in where one places the machine on their countertop. I just hope to see this machine back in some form or another. We've had it about 6 weeks now and so far it's GREAT!

Fix leaking problem
This used to be a 5-star coffee maker that lasted forever! Something changed over the past couple of years in the making of it or the internal design. We tried four in a row and all leaked from the bottom all over the counter. This should be a solvable issue for Cuisinart. I want to love this again. Great warranty but weary from packing & returning!
