Extremely Frustrating Experience
I purchased a Movado watch from Macy’s and it did not work right out of the box. I was told the battery was likely dead, which is already disappointing for a brand new watch. I went to another Macy’s location to do an even exchange, expecting the issue to be resolved, but the replacement watch also wasn’t working. Two brand new watches from Movado that don’t function is unacceptable. A watch at this price point should work immediately, and customers shouldn’t have to go store to store just to find one that actually runs. This experience felt like a complete lack of quality control and a waste of my time. Very disappointed with both the product and the process.

how about the strap
well I first visit Macy's to buy one of this watch, the ones fir men we were encountering a problem with the strap. unfortunately this was the only one in stock so I could not get it because there was a problem. I end up ordering one online which we have the same problem as I saw some of you complain about. because I'm a jeweler I discovered the problem. I had to apply pressure and squeeze the strap a bit tight from the inside. on the problem with solve. there is a cut at the back of the strap where you can press it down to get it tighter. it should have been a magnet watch band.

It’s a beautiful watch but putting it in was unnecessarily confusing and time consuming. For such cost it should not have a single flaw. The end of the band comes out from under the clasp and jusalways hanging flapping. Annoying. But it is a gem. Movado just need to clean up their game so customers are fully satisfied like they are when they collect the exorbitant amount of money.
Poorly designed and made
This watch is beautiful, however the design is poor, the strap is constantly slipping out, and hangs unattractively. The watch movement has also broken after a little over a year, costing between 150-200 in repairs. If you want a long lasting quality watch, this is not it.
This was a gift and it was perfect.. She loved it.
