Miele Classic C1 Cat & Dog Canister Vacuum

Very happy with this purchase! I got tired of replacing $150–$200 vacuums every couple of years, so I decided to invest in a Miele. It has absolutely been worth the upgrade. The quality is outstanding, and I fully expect to be using this vacuum for many years to come.

Pleased with purchase.

I am very happy so far with the performance and power of this vacuum. Using it is a pleasure. As many reviewers in various places have stated, the power cord could stand to be longer. Additionally the parquet brush head does not swivel so keeping it flat on the ground when extending under furniture can be a hassle. I guess we can upgrade that head if we want for an additional fee at some point. otherwise fantastic vacuum.

Best vacuum

As long as you know what you’re buying with Miele that it is a canister not a conventional vacuum cleaner; you’ll never have a problem with it. I’ve used Miele for 20 plus years now and filtration has only gotten better and the suction are unbeatable. This is my first one new in 15 years And the noise is lower compared to the older versions. The electric head is super helpful on carpet.

Great vacuum - recommended

Although this is an expensive vacuum, it is well worth the cost. It cleans exceptionally well and is light weight and easy to move around. Although the hose and cord are shorter than competitors, this canister vacuum does a better job and is easier to pick up, move around, store, and (most importantly) seemingly buy replacement parts long into the future. We previously had another brand vacuum that we loved, but they didn’t have replacement parts after several years of ownership - that most me since we spent a lot for that vacuum, albeit less than this Miele. I definitely recommend this vacuum.

Used

I ordered a new vacuum but received one that was obviously used and appeared to have been battered in the process. There was hair and debris in the vacuum head, caked on dust inside the machine, and scuffs and scratches on the exterior. I am returning this machine in the hopes of re-ordering a new one.

I would NOT buy this product, again

My second Meile purchase. This canister is bulky and poorly designed. The attachments sit on top of the canister hooked to the hose. They get in the way of the hose when vacuuming. When vacuuming the attachments get tangled in the actual hose! What a horrible design. The rug attachment is very heavy, overly large. I give this 3 stars for suction, nothing else. Wish I could return and choose another canister.
