Will never have any other bin!

I love my simple human slimline bin. It's sleek, beautiful and what's most important: hygienic. I love the fact that it's a no touch bin. It's also very useful that the binliner is fixed in place by the rim and that the lid is soft-close. This is my second simple human bin and although they are a bit pricier than average, my first bin lasted 12 years. So it's well worth it in my opinion.

fragile hinge - replaced twice in 3 months under warranty

love the sleek and slim design, fits my small kitchen perfectly. very quiet closing of lid. however, despite the rest of the sturdy metal design of the trash can, the hinge is plastic and extremely fragile. it broke with minimal force and has had to be replaced twice in 3 months. i’m extra extra careful now when lifting up the whole lid to replace the liner, but disappointed with the experience and quality given that it’s not a cheap trash can.
