Great design

I've been using Tramontina saute pans for years. I thought this new rivet less style was a good design improvement. I haven't seen any real advantage in everyday use, but still like the streamlined design.

perfect size and great nonstick surface

I keep a small nonstick pan solely to cook eggs and grilled cheese. That's it! And I am careful to avoid metal utensils and harsh cleaning. Even so, the nonstick surfaces always lose their nonstick quality eventually - I've had silverstone, ceramic, and anodized aluminum (Calphalon). I use a cast iron skillet for regular cooking. This one is highly rated, and so far I really like it. The surface seems nice and hard (not easily damaged). I am babying it. Hopefully, it'll last longer than the others.

Tramontina makes excellent cookware. I have a variety of sizes, My only criticism is they don't last long.

Scratches using a silicone spatula on first usage

Pan scratches using a silicone spatula while cooking an egg - first usage - awful quality control. Tramontina does not honor their warranty either.

Poor quality

Christmas gift. After two uses within one week and using a silicone spatula - once frying a pancake the other reheating a rice dish, there are already scratches in the non stick coating. Very poor quality and not waht it use to be. Had the professional non stack that lasted me 8 years - this one after two light uses, is already scratching!

Great!

This skillet is perfect. It is the right size to fry an egg. The nonstick is wonderful. Things just slide right out. No oil needed. Great brand. I have other sizes of this cookware, and they are all great. I highly recommend.
