Great for a Small Kitchen

Excellent for a studio kitchen with no countertop range. I wish I had bought the double burner though. This one only boils liquid if it is in a pan that is the size of the burner. Liquid doesn’t boil in smaller pans with this large single burner. But on the whole, I’m very please with the purchase!

Great size & temps are perfect!

Purchased as an extra burner and also to cook outside. The burner is a perfect size and heats up quickly. The temperature dial matches your cooking needs It has been a perfect addition to the kitchen. It works as expected of a Cuisinart products. Love it!

Cuisinart Countertop Single Burner

I recently purchased this Cuisinart single burner hot plate. The small stove in my mobile home doesn't get hot enough to boil water so I bought this burner from Cuisinart. In a jiffy my coffee is done. The burner is 8 inches and fits my pots and pans.

Holy Casserolers, we cook so you can eat!

Great little hot plate! I bought and donated it to our church! We cook for shut-ins, homeless, and just anyone who needs a good home cooked meal! Today we made chicken and dumplings and we boiled the chicken in the pot, made the stock and made the entire meal in the pot! It worked fantastic! Heated, hot and quick, held a large stockpot and worked out great! We were so happy with it, we ordered a second one!

Works as expected

Needed while we are remodeling our kitchen. Works as expected with the fry pans including iron fry pan. However, it takes a bit longer to boil a big pot of water.

For emergencybqttery power usage

I have not fully used it yet but have checked out the controls and made sure it was working. It is not for everyday use but for power shutdown cooking to run off of one of y Jackery power banks when needed. we have them often here because of storms as well as preventative shutdowns in high wind low water situations. IT IS WELL DESIGNED AND NICELY MADE LIKE ALL OF MY CUISINART SMALL APPLIANCE. Will be worth every penny when we are in the dark and cold with a burner to make pasta as I have a bigger one for the fridge, aand this can be an alternative for different foods than I could do in the microwave or the toaster oven. They are all comparable wattages.

Cuisinart CB-30P1 Cast-Iron - Thumbs Up

My quest for a simple, tabletop burner for cooking Shabu Shabu was successful. The one-dial temperature control works well and the non-coil burner heats evenly (and cleans easily!). Its simple design is great for tabletop use-not clunky or huge and fits a 28cm Shabu pot perfectly.
