This glass sphere and stand combination is sure to become a conversation starter at your next gathering. Serving as a minimalistic sculpture that catches the light and draws the eye, this piece can work within any interior design theme.
My inspiration for buying this sphere came from seeing Leonardo da Vinci's painting Salvator Mundi. The orb is beautiful, and if you look closely you can even see faint air pockets deep within, just like in da Vinci's painting. A word of caution - the base, although aesthetically nice, is in my opinion not sufficient to securely hold the sphere and so I purchased an acrylic display case to house it. I hope that housing it inside a lighted display case with a mirrored based may enhance its appearance even more.
