Powerful
I wanted it to chop peanuts for small birds to mix with seed blends. Too much power. The pulse makes powder. Did not do a 15 second use! had powder and some nuts not chopped. I put it on shelf and will continue to hand grind. Maybe experiment another time.

Great spice grinder
Excellent for spice grinding. A little too aggressive for chopping nuts. I would say it "pulverizes" nuts into a paste rather than chopping.

PERFECT nut & seed bread
I love this grinder...and grinding nuts, even almonds, is no problem for this little machine. It ground nuts and seeds that helped me to make a perfect seed & nut loaf! Super healthy.

Dust in the Wind
Watching those flax seeds helplessly spinning around and turning into powdery goodness just makes my morning. I have so much fun grinding up stuff, listening to the high-pitched whirling, like a little leaf blower, releasing all those lignins, nonsoluble fiber and vitamin E, I can hardly contain myself. It so easy to use that sometimes I get carried away and grind up too much.

Superb.
I’ve started baking a gluten free loaf of bread every week and needed something simple to grind up nuts and seeds to add to the mix. My magimix was really messy with lots of components to clean, so invested in this spice grinder. Absolutely superb, having two metal containers supplied works perfectly for me. Grinds to a fine powder so works so well in bread. Easy to clean, highly recommend.

Returning : fails to grind
Bought this three days ago and it failed to grind dry pomegranate seeds. It also produced only a coarse grind for almonds instead of a fine powder, so I’m returning it.
Response from Macy's
We’re sorry to hear your SG-10 did not perform as expected with pomegranate seeds and almonds. This grinder is designed primarily for dry, harder spices and nuts, and results can vary depending on moisture content and size; we recommend cutting larger nuts into smaller pieces and ensuring seeds are fully dry before grinding. For more detailed usage tips, a free downloadable PDF of the user’s manual is available on our website.
Sturdy, functional tool
I used a coffee grinder for 25 years to grind spices before it finally cracked and broke. This one seems sturdy and does a good job of grinding spices so far. I'm still learning how to get to the degree of grind that I want, but that's on me.
