Worth it. It was free.
One was just gifted to me. Used once. The guys HOA went after him for to much smoke. After reseasoning it.Testing with some pork loins. Wood chips. Not pellets. A lot of smoke. But there's more coming out of the door then the small vent hole in the back. Im going to modify the ventilation and the door issue. Great little smoker. But remember Wood Chips. The guy at the hardware is wrong.

This smoker "DOES" produce smoke!
For those saying this product doesn't produce smoke, the key is knowing that wood chips don't start smoking until around 450F (dry) at about 10-15 minutes at the temp. So, preheat the smoker first, then put the wood chips in for 15 minutes, then put in your meat/veggies and lower the temp to the desired range. This is a good smoker for the price point. The construction is good and it's easy to clean. My only complaint is that it leaks oil from the food.

Best small smoker for the price
A perfect size smoker for a small family. Performed excellently, needed new chips every two hours. A foil pan on bottom sheet makes drip clean up easy. Very happy with it.

Sizzling Satisfaction
Rating: 5/5 Stars Review: As an avid BBQ enthusiast, I've tried my fair share of smokers, but the Cuisinart Electric Smoker truly stands out from the crowd. From its sleek design to its exceptional performance, this smoker has exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the ease of use is unparalleled. With its simple controls and intuitive interface, even beginners can achieve delicious, smoky results with minimal effort. Whether I'm smoking ribs, brisket, or salmon, the consistent temperature control ensures that my meats come out perfectly cooked every time. The spacious interior provides ample room for smoking large cuts of meat or multiple racks of ribs, making it perfect for entertaining guests or meal prepping for the week ahead. Plus, the adjustable racks allow for customization based on the size and shape of whatever I'm smoking. One of my favorite features is the built-in thermometer, which allows me to monitor the internal temperature of the smoker without having to open the door and let out precious heat and smoke. This ensures that my meats cook evenly and retain their moisture for that juicy, mouthwatering flavor. Cleanup is a breeze thanks to the removable drip tray and ashtray, and the stainless steel construction is not only durable but also adds a touch of elegance to my outdoor cooking setup. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Cuisinart Electric Smoker. It has elevated my BBQ game to new heights, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a reliable and user-friendly smoker.

Good product not much smoke
Nice well built electric smoke. Large capacity for meat and heats quickly and retains heat well. Smoke box doesn’t produce much smoke so I used a smoke tube to help it along. Overall a good product. I would recommend.

Rusted quickly and they offer basically no parts
The legs broke within eighteen months and I can’t seem to find any replacement legs to buy. They shouldn’t rust through like that especially since I have it under their cover. Very disappointing because it works well. But at three hundred dollars, it ought to last longer or have parts available.

Response from cuisinart.com
We're sorry to hear about your experience with the 30" Electric Smoker. We understand how disappointing it can be when the smoker continues to perform well but the legs have deteriorated sooner than expected, particularly when the unit has been used with a protective cover. To help extend the life of outdoor cooking products, we recommend periodically inspecting and cleaning moisture-prone areas and storing the unit in the driest location possible when not in use; however, we understand your concern regarding replacement part availability. Thank you for sharing your feedback—your comments help us evaluate product durability and identify opportunities for future improvements.
