Loved til I didn't

I bought this because we raise our own beef and roast are usually BIG. It was great til used it the second time and my crock split right down the middle. I am very disappointed this was supposed to last, at least I thought it would. Now I am looking for replacement and nope can't get that either. Definitely a waste for only 2 uses.

Haven't used it enough to review. You should not ask this during registration (2 star). It really should have a power LED on it so we know the breaker didn't trip. We won't know for over a hour if it did.

Capacity is not as stated

The capacity is advertised as 10 quarts but when I measured the volume, it only holds 8 1/2 quarts. False advertising.

Shattered Lid

I have used my 10quart crockpot only 5 times. I thought it was wonderful however this morning I was making oxtail soup and the crockpot was on when my husband heard a pop and went to investigate. The glass lid was completely shattered! Why would this happen? Had to throw out over $40 in oxtails! I feel like even if I buy a replacement lid can I trust this crockpot ever again?
