Do not recommend

Wont get up to temp even with half the recommended oil in it. With temp set to 400 degrees it wont heat the oil past 325 and that’s with half the recommended oil. With the recommended amount it wont heat past 260 causing everything to come out soggy and taste oily even with leaving the food in there to fully cook. Not to mention it takes nearly an hour to get to these temps. Tried new outlets, cleaning the heating element, changing the cord, etc. and nothing thats been recommended to try works.

Does not get hot enough to fry.

Not good for frying. Even with temperature turned all the way to 400 will not heat past 300. Takes a minimum 40 minutes to get to that point.

It Never Arrived

I ordered this product on Dec 10. It said it would be delivered within 3-6 days. I checked the tracking number regularly and it said it was not yet shipped. This was a Christmas present so extra disappointing. I would like a eefind.

Excellent. gets the work done

This product is excellent. I have both the XL, and large one. I've used them for over 15 yrs now. I have been waiting for the XXXL version. maybe 20quarts. So, I don't have to fry several batches.

Will purchase again. Great product.

I purchased my Kettle three years ago. I use it probably around three times per month. It cooks evenly, quickly and is easy to empty and clean. Makes GREAT fried chicken, After three years of use I see that the control module is showing some wear and cracking around the part that is plugged directly into the pot. The electric plug itself is still in excellent shape, as is my kettle. I have recommended this item to several friends who have also purchased same.

I can only cook on the warm setting or it starts to boil, Thought it would be great for my Camp trailer.

The temperature control will cycle on and off - this is normal. For example when left on the warm setting, the control will reach 212 degrees and drop down to 160 and then back up to 212. It's amazing for cooking lg amounts.

We love the size. Just what i needed. It's great to brown the meat, wipe out the extra oil then turn up the heat to bake or cook how you choose. Chili and sauces with meat, in one pot are a breeze. Ive taken care of the unit. But the heat can be very touchy if you don't have enough liquid, it will boil dry fast. I have some scars in mine already and I'm a disappointed how it looks. I still believe they are a good buy if you cook in large quantities.

Nice size

The Fryer Pot is large enough to fry large portions of fish or chicken quickly. The only disappointment is the glass lid rim is dented and it is newly purchased. I won’t be able to get a good seal if it’s used to cook stew or soup 😔
