All the components in this 7-piece set offer superb heat conductivity and distribution. You won't get "hot spots," so food cooks evenly. Set includes 10" fry pan, 2-quart covered sauce pan, 3-quart covered sauté pan and 8-quart covered stock pot. Stainless steel exterior layer with a band of copper for accent. The pan has a copper core surrounded by two layers of aluminum and a stainless steel cooking surface. Polished stainless steel handles stay cool during cooking and are secured with sturdy, non-corrosive rivets. Stainless steel lid fits flush to pan so you can seal in the food's flavor. Hand washing is recommended.

Great quality and performance

Built to Last

I bought this set back in 2003, and I still cook with it today. They hold up well. I only wish it had a larger sauce pan. Guess I need a saucier since I miss the 4 quart one I had previously. I do enjoy the small sauce pan for small batches of soup, and the 3 quart sauté is too wide to use as a saucier in my opinion. Sets are nice, but I can see the advantages of buying piece by piece based upon usage as recommended by America's Test Kitchen.
