Convenient size and it looks really good.
My 1 1/2 quart saucepan is absolutely the right size for whipping up a quick meal for one, or sometimes two, people. It's small enough to be light and comfortable in the hand, yet big enough to hold a jar of pasta sauce. It cleans well and easily (including the potatoes I absent-mindedly burned.). Finally, it looks good. I may consider buying more all-clad items. Heartedly recommend!

How to stay healthy in old age.
We have owned a pair of these 2-qt pots for nearly 30 years. The pots are used in alternation, but nearly every day. I recently bought three more as gifts. It is hardly necessary to warranty them. They are so sturdy that you could practically swat a tank into the ditch with them. We are sure that the recipients of our gifts will be pleased. We are including a 3 lb. sack of Wheat Montana 7-grain cereal with each gift. This has been our standard breakfast cereal for nearly as long as we have had the pots By the way, I am in my late 80s; my wife is somewhat younger. We are both strapping and healthy. We have tee shirts that read: How to achieve a healthy old age, with these words in cascade: Laughter, Oxygen, Vitamins, Exercise. You will note that the first letters, in cascade, spell 'L O V E'

Not Very Durable. Lifetime Warranty Useless
Bought my pan a year ago. It fell off the counter and busted the seam. All Clad stated that it couldn’t be repaired and was not covered under warranty. I would expect a high quality pan to survive this.

D3 3 quart saucepan… 4 👍 up!
We recently updated our containers ….getting rid of plastics and replacing with glass etc. I thought we should also update some of our old cookware. Although it was good some had a teflon coating on it that had worn. I bought the D3 3 quart saucepan and we love it so far. It’s great for most applications like sauce making,soup etc. it has a quick heat up but the handle stays cool. It has a good weight. I recently bought the 1.5 quart as sometimes you need a small saucepan. We really love the D3 3 quart

Invest in pots for life
I had same pot for last 26 years and it works great. Still looks like new. I purchased this one for my daughter so she can have it for life. I believe in buying goods that last life time and always perform best. Keeps garbage out of landfill. I see lots of people buying cheap pots and tossing them after short time. It’s a lot more expansive in a long run, not to mention all the waste.
