Good for softening a firm mattress just enough

I was looking for some padding to make my firm mattress a little softer. This mattress pad does that well. The Allied one was one of the few I could find in a full mattress size.

Not cooling

I don't find it cooling. I also didn't find it cushiony either. I did like that it fits like a sheet. I had to buy a foam mattress to go under it to comfort my shoulder.
