Super Slow

Xfinity told me to upgrade so I could get 1.2 gig upload. I get 600MB with old device. The S33 was suggested as a compatible device. Got it and my download speed went from 600MB to 90MB. No apparent reason for this. Reinstalled the older device and speeds went back to 600MB immediately.

Angry

This co.gave out personal information to a stranger of a modem I purchased in 2019. The full conversation on how to hook it up. It was stolen from my home. The caller was not me. What kind of company would do that without verification of address, phone, something that would verify who was calling or if it were me. Since I learned of this in January I have been having many or problems with my own modem at my address. This is not acceptable. This isn't the product that's advertised but could not find where to post this!

Doesnt support Xfinity netgen

Doesn't do the new Xfinity upload speed. No information on if they ever bother to complete compliance testing..maybe it's Xfinity's fault, but who knows because no one acknowledges the issue.

Not certified for Xfinity Next-Gen network

It'll work up to 1.2gb down, but upload is throttled 35-40gb. Won't work for the next gen network (AKA "10G Network") speeds.

Super speed / easy to use

I purchased this when it came out and run gig internet at my home. I use the 2.5 port to a centralized location in my house and a 2.5 capable Asus router and pull blazing speeds. I also use the gig port switched out to multple Xbox Series X systems and One X consoles throughout the house. Amazing product and easy to set up with my service provider!

Perfect

I've had this particular model for 2 years and it's worked flawlessly. I've had no issues and I'm almost at a gig for connect speed, how much more could you want? The previous Surfboard modem, less capable model, from Arris I had for about 5 years again with zero issues.

Support...

Can't give it one star as it has done a good job...till about a month or so ago. This issue is I have for the last month lost connect at least once or twice a week. ISP says everything is good on there side it is on mine since I bought the modem and to go update the firmware. However I find that Arris does not update their period. So I would recommend staying away from it from that stance. I will also agree with another commenter in that you can only use one of the 2 ports. Very disappointing.

Poor info, runs noisy

Got this because internet suddenly went out and previous arris modem was over 8 years old. Only has one indicator light and no instructions on color codes. Also internal fan has very noisy buzz when running.
