I like all my Asics
I like to match my Asics with my outfits. My orthopedic surgeon recommended Asics years ago to me. That is all I wear now. My son, mother, daughter in-law and nephew love their Asics.

Good quality and price

They redesigned the shoe and it's terrible
I have been wearing the GT-1000 for years ever since I was diagnosed with falling arches/flat feet. My podiatrist recommend ASICS with arch support. After trying the GT-1000 I liked the fit and price point, so I have stuck with them for several years. Since my GT-1000 3's had finally reached the point of replacement I thought nothing of ordering the GT-1000 5, so I ordered two pair that I could rotate to extend the life of each shoe. ASICS must have redesigned the shoe because they are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn! I immediately noticed they were lighter and less sturdy feeling than my version 3. Additionally, the shoes felt narrow because the hard plastic in the heel rubbed up against the inside of my right foot just before the arch. I initially thought they just needed to be broken in, and that I would get used to them in time. Unfortunately that made a bad problem worse because I could barely get through a 3 mile walk in them. The next morning my feet hurt so bad I nearly went to the emergency clinic. Since I had the same problem with both pair either these were the two defective pair in their enire inventory, or that is how they are supposed to feel. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this shoe again because of the redesign which reduced the width of the shoe and the weight. ASICS, if you are listening, PLEASE bring back the version 3 of this shoe. I will buy ten pair!!! Until then, so long GT-1000.
