GORGEOUS - but beware

I really love the Constance pattern, but there have been significant issues with the quality of the products. I don't know if this is an issue with QA at Bloomingdale's or at Bernardaud itself, but a few of each of the items I registered for had one of the following: issues with the glaze (thumbprints or major blips), scratched gold, or the emblem in the center of the dish was off center (most commonly by 1/4", but had two cases where it was off by a full inch). I returned the pieces and have just been exchanging until they come out right because the pattern is so unique and beautiful. For the cost of the items they really should be perfect. Many of the items I received were much more indicative of "seconds" quality. The Bloomingdale's store representatives have been helpful in exchanging. We also contacted Bernardaud, but have had no response or comment from the company.
