It’s ok
First use was excellent. Since then takes ages getting up to pressure (30 mins plus) despite following all the troubleshooting advice. Food still comes out lovely, just takes a lot longer than I think it should.

Please see below some troubleshooting steps (related to the IB) to try and please reach out via social media DM if you need further help: • Assemble the lid correctly ensuring there is no gap between lid arm and the stainless steel lid. The sealing nut should be screwed on tightly. Follow step 5 on page 10. • Ensure the silicone lid seal is clean, free from damage or cracks and is properly inserted. Follow step 4 on page 10. • Ensure that the safety locking pin can move freely up and down. Follow step 6a on page 17. • When the lid is locked, ensure the safety locking pin is properly aligned within the opening of the lid arm. See step 7, page 13. • Ensure that the pressure release valve is properly seated in position and facing the lid knob. Follow step 8 on page 13. • Add more liquid / food to the bowl. There should be a minimum of 1 litre combined food and liquid Kind wishes! Sage Team

Old But Faithful
I am so glad we still have the option to buy this Breville item. I bought my first 7 years ago. I am gifting the older one to my college student. Although they can never keep this in stock lets you know how good it works. I will buy a new one soon as it comes available. It makes my collard greens and stems are well cooked. That is just one of the many things I cook with it.

I brought this a month ago and it’s been sitting on the worktop waiting to be used , having purchased a good quality machine I thought there would have been a good quality cook book???

Does not recommend - better products out there
I own this for years and I cannot wait to get rid of it. The non-stick coating at the bottom of the pot comes off and also stains. The lid is very inconvenient to take off after each use to wash. The rubber seal around the lid always comes loose. It takes a long time for the pot to come to pressure. When the steam is being ejected from the opening it is very loud and sometimes spits out liquid on the vent hole. Its well made in terms of construction. But choice of material for the internal pot could be better and not made with non-stick material. I am better off with a lower priced competitor brand pressure cooker.

Cooks great - once I get it working
I have had this machine for quite a few years now and use it a few times a month. From the beginning it will get to pressure and then turn off - lid not sealed. I start again. Same issue and again and again. By that time dinner is done. Every now and then it works as it should. I still love it and all the other features but this irritating. Recommended to my sister and hers works as it should!

Excellent machine
I now use to 2-3x a week, best purchase of 2026. Easy to clean, love making broth, soups, risotto is back on our week night menu, and baked milk of course!
