Both big and small jars are poorly designed and are super tight to close or open. Super annoying and have to either pour hot water to loosen the grip or use excessive force often requiring two people.

The Super Q blender is quite simply the best blender I’ve ever used. It does everything, it is easy to operate and clean, and it has a very handy smoothie attachment I use every day. The beautiful hardcover book it comes with is packed with great tips and recipes. Highly recommend.

I've just had this blender a couple weeks. Was chuffed to bits to see the lovely recipe book included. I mainly use it for smoothies, which do very well in the personal sized blending cup, and yes, this is probably way more blender than I need for just that, but I wanted durability and versatility, in that order. From my research, this is one of the few blenders on the market that use metal rather than plastic gears. THAT is a VERY IMPORTANT feature (and IMHO should be industry standard on all home appliances with gears). This was also reviewed as one of the quietest blenders on the market. However, with blending comes noise no matter what you do, so don't get your hopes up there. The pre-programmed cycles seem to work well. Mostly. The only real complaint I've had so far is when I tried to make the lemon sherbet from the recipe book. The crushed ice formed a thick slush in the bottom of the blending container and even with the tamper, it doesn't want to pull down any more ice. I had to empty the whole thing, then blend the remaining uncrushed ice in small batches. I haven't yet tried any other kind of recipe involving crushed ice, so I don't know if it's an issue with the blender just not handling ice well, or the recipe, or something I just did wrong. I was wobbling between purchasing this blender and the slightly more expensive Vitamix, but overall, I've been satisfied with my choice so far. We're on our second Breville toaster oven and have been very happy with the quality of their products.

I am kind of disappointed with this blender. I got it to replace the Breville Boss blender that I had for about 15 yrs. This blender looked like it would be closest to the Boss so I got it. The boss was a much better blender but parts are no longer available so I had to replace it. The best thing about this blender is the color.

Dissatisfied
A very nice machine, however the lid is so bulky very hard to clean, the biggest problem with this machine the extra personal blending cup is very hard to handle, to close it you have do it with extra force or else the liquid spills out and when you want to open it it’s so tight that is almost impossible to open it, its so unfortunate because this machine is powerfull, the return date is over or else I’d return it. It is very disappointing!☹️
