Poor quality now not 5 years ago
Replaced a unit and had to send back the first one for door issues. Second one in my possession now had minor door snag but kept because I have arthritis and couldn't handle another trip to UPS w/it. Now, the door won't close unless I push it - even a heavy swing won't close it. Door doesn't line up correctly for the magnet to get a good close.

Love this microwave. It's a lovely, compact design but doesn't feel too small (can still fit 11" dinner plate on it). The buttons are intuitive, I love the dial for setting time, the soft-close function is FABULOUS (why isn't this on every microwave..), and there's a Mute setting that lets you turn off all of the beeps. When it's done cooking it just stops cooking, no beeps or alarms that make your heart jump. Or you can leave it on and it's not terrible. I'm still learning the settings but mostly just hit the play/start button for a quick 30/60/90 seconds. Love the sleek look of it and it seems to work very well. Would definitely recommend.

Soft close door does not close on its own
Had item for less than a year with minimal use. The soft close door stopped working shortly after it was purchased. Door needs to be manually closed all the way or it stays open with the interior light staying on. Door seems to be made with cheap materials. I do not recommend this product.

Good Machine
I purchased it for the quiet. Love the mute button. Love the quiet latch. As for the fan and motor, which is most of the noise source, it does not seem that much quieter than an average microwave. I would like to know what decibel level it runs at compared to other microwaves.

Child Lock Very annoying
I bought this to replace a previous model of this microwave. The newer version has a new door unlock “feature” - A tiny button you have to press to open the door after the cook time is over. It’s very annoying to have to press each time. The manual gives instructions for how to disable this feature but the instructions don’t work. I can’t get this to turn off and I’m about ready to return this for something else.

The perfect downsize
We are Breville fans. A coffee maker, an espresso maker, a multipurpose oven and now this adorable microwave. Because our Breville toaster oven/ air fryer/dehydrator/everything oven does everything, we decided we didn’t need our big giant microwave and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s compact and still holds a full plate of food. We love the quiet door. Bravo.

Compact and quiet
This is my favorite microwave of my life (I have lived in over 15 homes/apartments, so I have seen a few). I bought this as countertop option for a small space following a remodel. it is perfect size for an average dinner plate and doesn't go overboard with functions you only use one a decade. Best feature is that it is super quiet to run as well as open/close and you can even silence the beep when food is ready. I love that I can use it without waking anyone in the adjacent rooms early in the morning or for a midnight snack
