You can’t go wrong with this compact Breville microwave! I love that the controls are simple buttons and dials, no more punching in the time, just turn a large knob, so easy. The soft close is sweet added feature.

Nicely engineered
Love it! I needed a quiet microwave and this did the trick. A Quiet door and allowed me to disengage the ding when done, so no one wakes up! I also have a Breville toaster oven that I love. They make a terrific product. Well engineered...

Poor quality now not 5 years ago
Replaced a unit and had to send back the first one for door issues. Second one in my possession now had minor door snag but kept because I have arthritis and couldn't handle another trip to UPS w/it. Now, the door won't close unless I push it - even a heavy swing won't close it. Door doesn't line up correctly for the magnet to get a good close.

Love this microwave. It's a lovely, compact design but doesn't feel too small (can still fit 11" dinner plate on it). The buttons are intuitive, I love the dial for setting time, the soft-close function is FABULOUS (why isn't this on every microwave..), and there's a Mute setting that lets you turn off all of the beeps. When it's done cooking it just stops cooking, no beeps or alarms that make your heart jump. Or you can leave it on and it's not terrible. I'm still learning the settings but mostly just hit the play/start button for a quick 30/60/90 seconds. Love the sleek look of it and it seems to work very well. Would definitely recommend.

Soft close door does not close on its own
Had item for less than a year with minimal use. The soft close door stopped working shortly after it was purchased. Door needs to be manually closed all the way or it stays open with the interior light staying on. Door seems to be made with cheap materials. I do not recommend this product.
