4 months agoThis is my second Breville Wave
I loved my first one so much that when it was time to replace it I bought a new one. I do most of my cooking in the microwave. Especially Chicken Breasts, and this cooks it perfectly. The same with vegetables. Makes great baked potatoes, white and Sweet Potaotes. Really, I cannot say enough...it softens ice cream + much more!

This one replaces an older model we had. I do like some of the newer features, such as the “smart reheat” and “smart cook” buttons are perfect!

I am a fan of Breville: toaster, oven, espresso machine, and now microwave. However, the soft close door is broken after 1 year and now the microwave is dead after 3 years.

5 months agoLoved this microwave until 2.5 years later it stopped working
I have many Breville appliances at my house, and I like them all. This is why, 3 years ago, I decided to get a Breville microwave. It worked well until one day last week, when it stopped working. I have tried resetting it to factory settings to no avail. It still doesn't work. The price I paid is too high for 3-year operations. After reading numerous reviews with similar issues, I am seeking a different brand of microwave. I am sad to lose confidence in the brand I like.

My microwave is defective. I purchased this just last year and the “smooth-close” door catches while closing, sometimes even bounces back which is concerning. Please help resolve!

We have been using this for a couple of weeks, and we are delighted! So far, everything is working well and as advertised. The soft-close door, the configurable audibles, and the stainless steel finish are the highlights for us.

The first microwave I can figure out!
It’s so easy to use and changes settings and all. And it’s quiet. I love the soft close door. The smart functions work! Only critique: I wish it came in colors, like our red Breville toaster oven.
