Very uneven browning

When performing the ONE SINGLE TASK that is expected to do: Toast bread - it does a less than stellar job. The browning is VERY uneven. The only thing that is consistent, is the inconsistency of the browning.

Broke after only a few uses.

I received this toaster as a gift for Christmas. It broke only after a few uses. It appears the carriage assembly isn’t very sturdy and bent very easily just from popping up. I did get a replacement toaster as it was still covered by warranty. I suggest GE find a better quality supplier.

Great Toaster

Best toaster I’ve ever used. It gets hot and creates the desired effectiveness evenly and quickly. It looks good too. we have matching GE Cafe appliances (stove, refrigerator and dishwasher)

not that great

still learning settings, but don't like the heating performance, works best when pushing the frozen button. If set at 8 it does not toast bread comes out barely toasted. Not worth the money, I would buy something else if I knew.

This can help with any heating issues you are experiencing.
