I was so happy to find this piece so I could put together my own set. This has the most comfortable handle and is the right size to handle most of my needs. I love the brushed stainless which hides fingerprints.
Very good sauce pan
We replaced an All Clad sauce pan of similar size. What we like better is; the taper of the pan makes it easier to stir, the domed glass lid makes it easier to see what's going on inside the pan, and the lighter weight is less clunky than the A C.

Calphalon makes me a better cook!
Calphalon contemporary cookware is an excellent product: the handles stay cool and feel wonderful in my hand, the lids are glass, the stainless heats evenly and is easy to clean and the variety of pieces makes it easy to use the right pot for right recipe.
Needs very little heat
Love Calphalon... my others are the old anodized. This is my first Calphalon Stainless. A plus: Requires VERY LITTLE heat to cook. Handle feels good in my hands and stays cool with stovetop cooking. Lid handle also stays cool which is nice. Minus: Lid is not tight. Maybe it was designed this way? It slides around on the pot a little. Also there is a seam where the metal wraps around and meets itself on the edge of the lid. Physically it doesn't matter but it looks bad. Otherwise it's a great pot. The pot has a slight outward curve near the top and a nice rounded bottom, making it very easy to stir and empty.

LOVE Calphalon !!!!!
I have a very complete set of the do-not-stick Calphalon and now have a complete set of the stainless too. Wouldn't use another another brand of cookware !!!

Stainless steel sauce pan
This isn't the first Caphalon pot that I've used, and I've never been unhappy with any of them. This pan met the need I had for an all-purpose small sauce pan. I expecially love the glass lid. It was great to be able to keep contents simmering without having to lift the lid.

Great addition to my set of Calphalon pans!
This pan is the perfect size for cooking small proportions of food. I've already utilized it a number of times, and have found that it's a handy addition to my set of Calphalon pans.
Calphalon Sauce Pan
This was a replacement for a 1 quart saucepan which was damaged - I was unable to find a 1 quart I liked so I choose this one - great choice. Very nice looking pan and there is more room for stirring than in the 1 quart.
