Great look for the price!

This bed is great! It looks good and is sturdy (heavy). When it was delivered, I was not able to move the box by myself, so I opened the box and brought the pieces in separately. Definitely a team lift. The bed was pretty easy to put together. It is a 5 out of 10 for ease of assembly only due to the number of parts. My tip for this is to set it up EXACTLY where you want it. I measured the wall so I started with the bed centered there. Here are things I wish I would have done differently: I would have purchased a thinner mattress (or a taller headboard). The mattress in the picture is 14" and is a little tall for this headboard and doesn't leave enough of a reveal in my opinion. I would have also purchased 9 furniture moving pads (for the queen size) and placed them during assembly (yes it has 9 legs). I also would have put the electric cord for my heated mattress pad through the space under the headboard before I got everything together- totally fixable- but a pain.

bed

the bed is great. but the inside is torn do to the rails and stuff being stored inside. other than that it looks nice, she loves it. it came fast

It is OK

I bought this because Macy's was having a big sale. I was a little disturbed when I received this because it looked like it had been opened and retaped, which I really hope doesn't mean it was used or returned previously. You wouldn't do that Macy's, would you? The color listed, ecru, turned out to be more like a slight darker oatmeal, which is acceptable but not exactly what I envisioned. This bed is very sturdy, but VERY heavy. It comes in a compact box but you can't budge it alone, probably not even with a friend unless you can both move approx 200 lbs. I had to hire movers for a couple hours to move the box from my lobby to apartment and put it together. Once you set it up it'll be really hard to move (especially on carpet), so make sure you know where you want to put it. The bed is nicely upholstered, very tidy looking, classic. I'm rating 3 stars because the package had been opened previously, the color not exactly what expected, and it's so darn heavy.

Sturdy bed but color not what is shown

Bed is very sturdy but the ecru is nothing like the picture, it had a green tint when we took it out of the packaging.
