I bought this almost 6 years ago, and I had to sand the groove with 320-grit before cleaning and waxing. I still have to do that every once in a while, but I'm now wondering if I should use the classic Butcher's Wax - the one made by this company feels more wet, giggidy. I do like the idea of the large juice groove. However, due to their size, it makes a quick clean-up of food scraps a bit more difficult by trapping more scraps in that extra space. I may remove the feet and use the flat surface instead. Storage is not an issue, and the feet make it easy to slip smaller things underneath it - less crap to remove from the top when I want to take the board out. But if you need to put it in a tight space then just remove the feet with a screwdriver, duh! No need to rate this board lower for having feet just because you bought a board that says it has feet.
Did not hold up well
this cracked very soon after i started using it. I did not return it - though should have. i continued using it and it split into three pieces. Sadly - this was not a good purchase for me.
Solid
This board is large and solid. It can definitely hold a large piece of meat. The wells are impressively deep to catch any juice. I have not used yet as it is a gift for my husband but I am impressed with it so far
Solid Large Cutting Board
What a deal I got on this great cutting board! You will need some room for storage as one side has rubber footings but you will love to use it when you need the large trough to collect juice. Solid, good looking, thumbs up from my cooking husband!

Nice, But....
I do think this is a beautiful cutting board with pretty round feet (not shown in the photo but make this a cutting board you could leave on your counter, it's so pretty); however, in the groove where juices will accumulate were a lot of rough, unsanded areas. Considering the full price quoted (of course I didn't pay full price), I think these should have been smooth like the rest of the board. It will make washing that groove out a little tricky. I would buy it again, though. I really got a great sale price, plus coupons, plus Thanks for Sharing 10% back, plus Plenti Points. So I received a good deal!
BEST CUTTING BOARD
After spending thanksgiving at my son’s, and noticing he did not have a substantial cutting board for the turkey, I purchased the one we have that is absolutely fantastic. It is of good weight and has an indentation for the juices. I consider it the best out there for any cut of meat.
