Featuring a drawer crafted to resemble book spines, the Charlier ottoman is a necessity for any literary maven. Constructed from MDF wood, the Charlier features a distressed dark brown finish for an antique appearance. One-pull out drawer provides storage space for extra blankets and linens. The drawer face is inscribed with the names of two classic books and the fleur de lis symbol, giving this piece an old world charm. Fitted with both storage and seating capability, the Charlier features a dark brown faux leather upholstered seat padded with foam. Brass nailhead studs and bun feet complete the look. The Charlier ottoman is made in China and will arrive fully assembled.

Very happy with purchase

I was pleasantly surprised that the ottoman was mindfully packaged so that it would not get damaged during shipping. It was packaged in a box within another box. The drawer reminds me of an old fashion design so it is just a wooden box drawer without rollers nor gliders (I'm ok with that). The ottoman is definitely well made for the price. I have it in the entry for my husband and my elderly mother to sit on when they put on their shoes. It is small enough for my small entry but high enough that my mother would not have a difficult time standing up from the sitting position. I would suggest to stick felt pads under the feet if you have hardwood floors. I highly recommend this product.

Handy drawer

What a great idea to put a drawer in this ottoman. It looks classy and I love it.
