- A special edition developed in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, this placemat was inspired by William Morris's "Violet and Columbine", a textile design registered in 1883. The weave was developed through contemporary techniques with a nod to traditional craftsmanship. Sketching and digital rendering in the Chilewich design studio helped translate the inspiration into a modern woven structure, bringing new functionality to its rich colors and complex pattern repeats.

Handsome well made placemats
yes Chilewich makes nice stuff, but these placements are even better than their normal placemats. Great design and color and you can reverse them for a different color palate/design
