Baking tray and frying rack lost in a move, can't get replacements!!!
Used the crux 2x and now it just stopped working doesn't pre heat or even get hot anymore
I keep getting error codes and the dial adjusts itself! I was told to cut the cord, please send me a new machine!
Worked for a year and we loved it until one day it turned itself on. Without any notice I hear the machine turn on and scroll through the menu beeping. I am concerned that it will start baking and burn my house down when I’m not home.
The CRUX Air Fryer Toaster Oven works well for short cooking cycles. When I try to bake something 40 minutes or longer, it shuts down and delivers an error code E05. if I unplug it, the oven will reset and I can bake again as long as I keep it under 40 minutes. From what I have been able to determine it seems to be a temperature issue which causes the shut down. I no longer have the box or I would ship it to the company. Reading reviews of other brand name ovens, It looks like the E05 error code happens with those as well.
Love this item till this coming week when the control panel went crazy. It's less then 2 years old. Use it daily for one thing or another. Before this week would have given 5 stars across the board. I feel a product like this should last longer then 16 months.
Here's the thing - when you produce a product with slightly different specs than the competition, you need to be prepared to provide replacement parts. The "oven rack" tray broke the second time I used it and now I need a new fryer basket. I've looked EVERYWHERE but everyone else's dimensions are consistent, and Crux just had to go and make theirs be off by 1/2". I had been using my air fry basket for toasting, but now that basket is busted too. It makes an otherwise great machine useless to not have replacement trays and baskets. Wish I would have read all the reviews before I bought it, I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known.
How does every review ever say something about replacement racks and CRUX STILL not make them available? I've had the fryer for almost 2 years and it works great but it's time for new racks after scrubbing just isn't cutting it anymore. To look and see nothing available but to buy a whole new air fryer is outrageous!
