Old, Tarnished, and Used

Purchased this chain 2 days ago and it arrived today. I've never seen a supposedly NEW item this DIRTY, DENTED, and WORN. I have to now go to the store and ask some questions since customer service was useless, and fin out why this necklace looks like its been worn since 2008 and used as a door stop
