Favourite pressure cooker
I’ve own the meal maker for a few years it’s used several times a week. It’s so easy to clean and safe with the stainless steel bowl. I have 2 other multi cookers. I prefer the meal maker the pressure cook on this little machine is far superior then the other 2 brands I have they have air fryer capabilities so maybe that effects the pressure cooking. Stews are pure heaven in this machine it does have some flaws the lid can sometimes be difficult to open even after the pressure been released water does gather around the lid and runs when opening. It was difficult to work out how to use compared to other brands once you worked it out it’s easy would love it to be bigger actually need it to be bigger most weeks so that’s why it lost a star but these things are minor I’d recommend this cooker I’ve made huge batches of soup that had to be split between 2 machine you could taste the difference this cooker was everyone’s favourite

Cuisinart style and ease
Very easy to use, with both a far better “look” than an Instant Pot and a much better (and safer) steam release. Plus I like the hinged lid with the condensation trap. If one thing could be improved it would be the ability for the cooking pot to lock in place.

The best friend
It is my new best friend! The pressure cooker is the best item I purchased this year. I love to cook meat stew and soups. The pressure cooker helps me cook it faster. I will recommend it for buying.

Where is the crockpot feature?
The only thing missing is crockpot feature with adding cooked food to be warmed up. I can’t figure that out.

Disappointed
I was very excited to finally own a pressure cooker and finally cut hours of cooking. But was very disappointed with the results of the dishes I have been making. Each time -I do achieve the tenderness I want to achieve in so much less time than if I were to cook stove top. But my dishes had an odd taste each time. after 3 dishes, it all had a distinctive similar weird taste. And smelling the rubber around the cover was that weird taste going into the dish. A rubber chemical taste. All dishes- a beef dish, pork dish and bean soup ended up going to waste. I can’t afford to use again and waste food. Could it be a defect- or that’s how it’s supposed to be? I’m very disappointed ☹️ 😤 But the look and design is impressive- it was 1 reason I was drawn to it.
