Smart Power Duet Blender/Food Processor is great!

I love having a blender and a food processor in one machine. For several years I was chopping food in a tiny chopper which meant refilling the processor several times for one meal The Cuisinart Smart Power Duet Blender/Processor is easy to use and saves time!

Lackluster blender option

This blender, while claiming to crush ice efficiently, overheats each and every time I try to do so. Even small pieces of frozen fruit will cause the same result. Definitely not smoothie or protein shake friendly. Very disappointed.

Burnt out motor

I’ve had this duel blender/food processor for several years. It’s been used quite a lot. Recently someone was used it for a smoothie and it was too thick but person just let machine run which caused motor to overheat and lug down. Now it’s not working. I’ve been trying to find just the motor portion. Is it possible to purchase Jose the motor/power part?
