Good coffee. Terrible carafe

Awesome coffee maker but the carafe is terrible and Cuisinart doesn’t sell a replacement!

At last

I tried other coffee makers and sent them back because they had to many parts take take off and put on before making a pot of coffee, others had coffee all over the counter just trying to pour a cup. I found this model and it was simple to use and it makes a great cup of coffee. I only wish it was a 10 cup instead of 8 but I can live with that. I’ve seen negative reviews about the glass carafe but I haven’t had any issues. Good job Cuisinart.

Good coffeemaker

I had this same coffeemaker for 3yrs and loved it. Unfortunately, I broke the coffee pot and couldn’t get a replacement. I debated getting an entirely different coffeemaker. I finally went with this one again and it does make excellent coffee. The basket doesn’t fit as well as it did in the old one. The computer screen was glitching when I first turned it on. But I tapped on it and it started working just fine. So I kept it.

No replacement carafes ??!!

I'm replacing this three+ year old coffee maker which was working perfectly until I unfortunately broke the carafe. I ordered a new one, only to discover that replacement carafes are no longer stocked. Thus I'm not willing to risk using my new purchase. I will return it as soon as it arrives and instead order a Bonavita model. Very disappointed in Cuisinart.

Great Coffee maker/no replacement carafe

Giving this 1 star because I can't get a replacement Carafe for it. The coffee maker is actually great and makes excellent coffee. Very disappointed that I can't get a replacement carafe. Makes no sense you can buy a complete coffee maker with the same carafe, but they don't offer it alone.

Disappointment

The coffee maker is sub par at best and at the peicepoint it should brew outstanding tasting coffee and i have had better brew from a 20 dollar mr coffee maker.

Buy at your own risk

Loved the machine but we are no longer able to use it as we have a broken carafe and there’s no replacement. Investing in a new one seems like throwing money away.
