when pushing the lever to toast, it often takes 2 or 3 tries before it catches and starts to toast

A bomb

This toaster gets very hot to the touch. Also, the single setting does not work. The toast will be very brown on one side, and hardly at all on the other. It's an engineering flaw, like all the others on the market. It is being returned 15 minutes after opening it.

Best toaster ever

We bought this toaster about a month ago. It is the best toaster we have ever bought. Makes perfect toast every time. We don’t have to constantly change the degree of toasting. It is used daily. We highly recommend this brand.

Cheaply Made

It works okay but the levers seem flimsy. One lever sometimes requires a couple of trys to make it stay down. I expected better from Cuisinart.
