I saw this on sale and decided to give it a try. Now I know I would have paid full price per it is a wonderful steamer. it's lightweight and well made. I have cooked mostly vegetables. I love the way they cooked not to soft or hard. I only cook for 2 people so it's just the right size for us. The vegetables come out very flavorful very tasty. It cleans up nicely as well. The microwave is getting a lot of use now with this steamer. I think if you have a large family you would need to use it multiple times because it's not what you call family size. I do recommend this steamer if you want fast and tasty vegetables. I have not cooked any meats in it so I don't know how well it would work on meats.

I bought this steamer here a little over a year ago (for $7-$8 less than what the price is now) and, for some reason, didn’t get around to using it until just now. Well, I sure have been wasting my time because I just steamed 2 cups of the best farm-freshr6 broccoli that I’ve ever eaten. Not too hard, not too soft; it was just perfect! In fact, I couldn’t stop eating it (and we’re talking about broccoli here). I haven’t tried it with other veg yet and I also haven’t washed it (and if I end up having a problem, I will definitely be back here) but wow, for only 3 minutes and 30 seconds in the microwave, that had to be the best broccoli I’ve ever eaten.

I have been using steamer bags to steam my veggies but they are hard to find and are getting more expensive. So I was looking for a better alternative and found this. I’ve used it to steam butternut squash, carrots, etc and it works perfectly. Easy clean up too.

In judt 5 minutes my stuffed chicken breast was perfectly cooked in the microwave while in a conventional oven it takes 40 minutes to cook.

My veggies come out delicious and amazing. It's super easy to use and a time saver from cooking them over the stove. Great gadget. Clean up is a breeze.
