Pasta maker game changer
No more rolling out the dough. This is a great addition to my kitchen. Fresh pasta in minutes. Delicious. Please bring it back!

Love this machine
I have used the machine for about 3 years and like all pasta making it takes practice. Best thing I read was that the dough needs to mix to a fine crumble. I always use the auto setting so that the mix is complete and sometimes add a little flour or water if the mix does not look right or near the end if the dough is getting too sticky. Easy to add thru the lid opening.

EASY!
Easy to use and I've never made pasta. Fresh is best

This works fine for pasta if you don’t get the dough too wet. I only tried making bread dough once, that was a flop. I’ll stick to my stand mixer for bread. It would be nice if we could get dies for more types of pasta.

Very disappointing
We made the dough exactly as the recipe said. The dough was very crumbly and wouldn’t extrude. It then overheated and baked the dough in the extruder. Luckily we are used to making our own pasta and I have several pasta rollers and boards. We took the dough out and made it our way and saved the dough mixture. I have numerous Cuisinart items and swear by their standards. This however missed the mark entirely and unless you use it as an expensive alternative to a KitchenAid mixer, I simply cannot recommend this to anyone. Again, we followed directions to the letter because we wanted a simpler way without bringing out all our tools. My wife’s family came from Napoli, Italy so we all know how to make pasta. Extremely disappointed and I’m seeing if I can return this as defective because it obviously doesn’t work as advertised.

Unfortunately, the Dough does not rotate properly into the cylinder to make noodles. Not satisfied at all. Tried 3 times following directions explicitly and nothing

Got good use out of it
I've used this machine frequently for the past year or so. I'm writing this review because finally something broke, the die holder snapped apart. Considering the die holder is pretty much the only actual replacement part they sell on this website, I'm guessing this is a common occurrence if this machine is used enough. I'm not exactly disappointed or surprised that something broke considering how much I used it. Pros: -Extrudes the noodles quite quickly -Spaghetti and fettuccine pastas are quite good -The design makes the most out of the durability of the plastic construction. Some other machines can put strain on the more fragile components over time, but this design seems to put the strain almost entirely on more durable plastic parts. Though the die holder is probably the exception to this. -The built in pasta cutter is neat and works well -Doesn't leave all that much dough left over, compared to other machines. Cons: -Pretty limited in the varieties of pasta you can make, compared to other machines. -Pasta shapes other than the simple noodle shapes (Spaghetti and Fettuccine) don't work all that well. Particularly the fusilli die is quite bad, I've never had a good result with it. I don't mind personally, since I just use the spaghetti die 90% of the time anyways. -If this product is ever revived, consider redesigning the die holder to have a metal insert, or just make the entire part stainless steel. Overall, I think if all you primarily want a machine to make spaghetti and fettuccine, this is a pretty good option. I've seen other reviews mentioning that they had trouble getting the ingredient mixtures right and the machine seizes up as a result - I measure my ingredients with a food scale and have never had this problem, and would highly recommend anyone else do the same. If that's not something you're willing to do, then consider looking for a machine with a scale built in.
