This is a lovely jute rug that is durable and has an eye-catching but soothing pattern of cool-toned medium blue, light grey, and ivory. The flatter weave is ideal for our kitchen which gets a lot of foot traffic and the rug looks beautiful under a light blue kitchen island. Our home has a mediterranean theme and this makes the kitchen one of the most inviting rooms and also ties the adjacent rooms together nicely.

Rug (4x6 size) arrived about 3 weeks ago. Colors are pretty and the rug is attractive. However it is hand sewn together in pieces, which makes it delicate. I have been afraid to vacuum and risk fraying the stitched together pieces, and so I've been lifting up and taking outside to shake gently. Just did this today and noticed that a whole 6 inch section had separated, leaving a gaping hole in the rug. I have tried to stitch it back together as well as I could. If it happens again, I will return it The rug also sheds a lot of fibers, though I am hoping this will lessen over time. So, overall, I'd say this rug is a bit of a pain, and I recommend you choose another one.

This is a beautifully constructed rug, however, it is darker - particularly in the whiter/cream tones - of the pattern. I agree with other reviewers that the blue is more periwinkle, but the biggest drawback for me is that I was expecting a rug with more contrast between the blues and creams. The rug is different than the one depicted in the photo.

Usually love Annie Selke ...ButI was so disappointed with the weight and texture of the rugs I ordered. They seem really cheap and skimpy. Nice design But blue is different .... but...... I would not buy again or recommend..

I purchased two of the 3 x 5 for each side of the bed plus the rug pads. The colors and fabric in the rug were exactly as depicted in the photos. The pad is sturdy but not a high pile which suits the carpet just fine. The rugs are soft to the foot and comfortable. The colors are just beautiful; muted, yet defined. Easy to vacuum and seem to be quite sturdy. A great find at a great price. I am now in the process of choosing two for the living/ dining space. I will not look elsewhere. The only problem I face is narrowing down my choices. Extremely happy with this purchase

love the look, but the blue is a periwinkle shade, not an indigo or navy.

I love Dash and Albert rugs but the accent color on this one is very purple in person. One of the pictures is not accurate and appears to be indigo, but the coloring does not work with indigo blues. It would be a fine rug if your decor includes or works with purple colors.

Beautiful Rug - Sadly disappointed!
Make no mistake, this rug is beautiful! I ordered it for my living room which is high traffic and we have 2 small dogs. Just my husband and I, no children in the home. I was concerned the jute material would not hold up with traffic and cleaning and expressed these concerns to my local designer who reached out to Annie Selke and had them contact me. I was assured this was a great material for high traffic as well as animals. Sadly this is just not the case. Within a year the rug began to look dingy, even though we turned it every few months fo even wear, and at a year and a half, two small holes appeared in the rug. If you must ahve this rug, my suggestion would be to place this rug only in an area that receives minimal traffic like a guest room.
