Cute pies but...

I made some blueberry filling. By re rolling leftover crust I was able to get 3 mini pies from one refrigerated crust. I love how the center puffs up when it is just about done, but the top center doesn’t brown like in the picture on dash site and the edges burn. Why?

Hello! To get a nice and cooked top crust please follow the tips below: Roll out the dough thinner with a rolling pin. Slightly dome your pie filling so that the top crust reaches the top of the pie maker. Do not press down when you close the lid it can flatten the outer crust ring making it burn before the middle is able to cook.
