The changed and cheapened the quality of this Air 2

I own a three year old Chatelet Air 2. When the airlines damaged and then repaired it I decided to buy a new replacement-exact same one I thought. How depressing to find out Delsey Paris removed one of the interior zipper covers. Now when I go to close the suitcase items fall out of the side that no longer has a cloth zipper enclosure. It's so bad I've gone back to using my damaged one. Shame on Delsey!

Pretty good!

Luxurious looking. Sturdy. Smooth rolling. Lots of space and pockets for a small luggage with zippers and materials appearing to be of high quality. Time will tell if my initial assessment will last from my monthly flights. I hope so because it’s on the high end of pricing. However Delsey Paris luggage has been consistent with their quality.

I'm a bit shocked...

I've had a Delsey, expandable spinner carry-on for 10 to 15 years and I travel extensively. It's been beaten to you-know-what and comes back every time ready to go again. But it was finally showing signs of weathering. So I decided to go for this new unit. Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but it simply doesn't pack things the same way. It's not technically expandable, though I thought it was, yet it's as deep as my old one once expanded. However, the strap system is so bizarre because it's rooted so deep inside that when you pull the strap to connect it, you compress everything away from packable space and doesn't have the same length as the old one. Perhaps the strap is only meant for some internal items and then other things stack on top of that??? Plus, I'm struck by the quality of the zipper compared to my old one. It seems on its face that the quality is greater, tho it doesn't feel the same way, doesn't glide the same, feels bigger and clunkier. It's otherwise a beautiful unit, rolls great through the airport and over all sorts of obstacles and definitely holds a decent amount of stuff for a multiple day trip where you just want to carry on.

Love this!

I love this carry-on so much! I actually own this and the medium trunk spinner and love them both. Sturdy design, smooth wheels, great overall aesthetic, and I definitely love the fact that they include shoe and laundry bags. Have a trip coming up soon and can’t wait to test them out. I’ve heard only good things so super excited!
