The cordless Dyson Gen5outsize has the suction power of a corded vacuum. It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the larger size, power, intelligence, and additional run time to deep clean larger spaces. It has a 25% wider cleaner head and 150% larger bin compared to the Dyson Gen5detect, as well as twice the run time. The Dyson Gen5outsize covers more floor with each pass and allows for more cleaning between bin emptying and charges. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up. The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. Overall great

I wish the attachment for the hard floor was wider. I actually thought it was going to be. I do like the extended battery life and bigger canister size. I should be a product tester because I have a Great Pyrenees and it tests all the limits! This is our 5th Dyson- which in my opinion is the best for a house that has an indoor Pyrenees!

Terrible vibrations

Overall I’m not happy with this purchase. The beater bar has horrible vibrations and is unusable for hardwood floors. (Which 90% of my house is) I have had Dyson send out a new head and it was a little better but it is still not usable. Frustrating that the expense of a stick vac doesn’t come through in quality or functionality. This is the 3rd stick vac I have and by far the worse one.

Great features

I just bought this vacuum last month & I am loving it so far..I love the suction.. I am amazed at the amount of particles that has been in my carpet all these years...the only issue I have is removing the attachment stick to empty the vacuum.

Weight of the Gen5outsize

I have had this vaccum for a couple of weeks now and love everything about it EXCEPT the weight. I will get used to it but it was surprising. The vaccum does a fantastic job of getting all of the dust, dog hair etc off the floor and I am able to vaccum the entire house twice before changing the battery.

Awesome vacuum!

I upgraded to this version and I love it. The ability to use the attachments like a hand held vacuum is an added bonus. There are three options for suction strength which is great!

Love this Vacuum! Best thing i bought all year.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. At first, it seemed like this was really heavy, but the vacuum is so will balanced. The battery life is amazing. The versatility is awesome and I am using it every day.

great for dog hair

I bought this after using one in my son's home and had to have one of my own. I love the light that illuminates the dog hair and dust on the floor...it's addictive!! And the two batteries is essential...I always have a back up
