This Gen5outsize appears to have less suction than my V15. I now understand why Dyson does not offer a wider laser fluffy cleaner head. I don’t mind the added weight, two batteries, larger bin and the on/off trigger, which are better on the outsize than the V15’s finger trigger. Be careful on the description saying the cleaner head is 25% wider, which does not apply to the laser fluffy cleaner head. Both models are the same width. Noise is not an issue. Both are easy to empty. I would highly recommend buying the V15 and an extra battery.

Worth the cost compared to cheaper rivals
Compared to the previous generation top-of-the-line model the suction is more powerful and, with the wide cleaner head, gets the job done fast. The fluffy optic cleaner head with its laser is genius at helping to spot and pick up debris and pet hair on hard floors. The powered hand brush is great at getting pet hair off furniture. Battery life is impressive and having two batteries for extended use is a plus. Be aware that tools and batteries from previous generation Dyson vacs may not fit the new model.

My OCD is now in overdrive with clean floors.
I have now had this vacuum for two weeks. I have four dogs so there is lots of hair. The green light on the soft roller head for hard floors has now made me extremely OCD. I thought my floors were clean until I used this. Battery is long lasting for my 2000 sq ft home. Suction is extremely good. This is my third Dyson vacuum (one corded and now two cordless). I moved my old cordless to our RV. All are still in working order but just used in different aspects. This new cordless blows my old one away even though it is a little louder and a little heavier but not by much.

Great cleaning
Love this sweeper but a bit too heavy for me with my arthritic shoulder. I have one on each floor and love my lighter one for daily sweeping.

This is definitely worth every penny. It is so fun
This Vacuum at first I thought it was like my old one, but it’s not it’s way better. It’s really fun to use especially the hardwood attachment. You just won’t believe all the dirt and dust and animal hair you can see with the attachment. It works so good. It’s amazing and then the large attachment or the regular attachment. Gets the job done super fast. The suction is amazing. The filter is amazing. The technology is beyond anything I could’ve imagined. It is amazing. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it seems heavy for me when I do the whole house I have to keep switching hands, but I’m thrilled and I know that you will be to this Vacuum is worth it.
