The cordless Dyson Gen5outsize has the suction power of a corded vacuum. It has HEPA filtration for our deepest, most hygienic clean. It's engineered with the larger size, power, intelligence, and additional run time to deep clean larger spaces. It has a 25% wider cleaner head and 150% larger bin compared to the Dyson Gen5detect, as well as twice the run time. The Dyson Gen5outsize covers more floor with each pass and allows for more cleaning between bin emptying and charges. It intelligently optimizes suction power based on floor type and debris picked up. The LCD screen indicates when to keep cleaning an area and when to move on. The Fluffy Optic cleaner head reveals invisible dust on hard floors. The extra wide de-tangling Digital Motorbar XL cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors without tangles. Very Good Vacuum Cleaner

I've had this vacuum for about a month and used it twice. I love the performance of the vacuum cleaner, but I think the hard surface attachment should have been the same size as the carpet attachment, though you can use the carpet attachment for hard surfaces too. Having two batteries is a great plus. Thanks Dyson!

Small hard surface cleaner head

This is the fifth Dyson vac we've owned. There appears to be false advertising with this model. While they say the cleaning head is over 12 inches, that only applies to the carpet head. the hard surface head is only 9 inches. This is not mentioned. We really wanted a large hard surface cleaner.

Except the battery

love this dyson. the only drawback is the weight. the oversized battery is probably larger than necessary and it makes it heavy. My thumb starts to go numb after a few minutes. But I do love absolutely everything about this vacuum otherwise.

Love my Dyson

My previous one fell and broke. Had to replace it with a Dyson again as I loved it. The replacement did not come with as many attachments than my previous one and the previous one's attachments does not fit on the new one. Love the fact that you don't have to hold the power button while cleaning.

Easier and stronger vacuuming

Lots more suction power than my Dyson V12. I love using it for floors, and the smaller for dusting and tinier places. I also have a Dyson Ball canister. I got the cordless Gen5 to have less physical pain (fibromyalgia) from pulling the canister around. I am very happy I can now vacuum more often with less pain!
