The Dyson V8 Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner is engineered with the power, versatility, tools and run time to clean homes with pets. The specialized Fluffy cleaner head is gentle on hard floors but tough on dirt. It is engineered with soft woven nylon and anti-static carbon fiber. Dyson s de-tangling Motorbar cleaner head deep cleans all floor types, with stiff nylon bristles to remove ground-in dirt from carpets. The innovative Hair screw tool with a conical brush bar is perfect for cleaning upholstery and pet beds. The Dyson V8 Absolute has advanced, whole-machine filtration that captures pet allergens and fine dust, expelling cleaner air. Thanks to the cordless format, it also transforms into a handheld vacuum with one click so you can clean up high, down low and everywhere in-between. Comes with a 2-year warranty and lifetime Dyson support. Actual runtime will vary based on power mode, dust level, floor type and/or attachments used. ²In Boost mode, tested per ASTM F315.

Repeat Performance

This is my second purchase of this unit. I have 2 cats and hard floors and vacuum very frequently. The last one lasted me over 10 years. I replaced the battery perhaps 2-3 times and it finally gave out. I elected not to upgrade to the newer versions as the bells and whistles they offered meant nothing to me. I enjoyed my original unit, so why mess with success.

Disappointed.

I purchased my Dyson V8 vacuum in January 2026. I had heard good things about the cordless V8. I am not impressed. V8 does not do well on large area rugs. Very hard to maneuver, battery charge last about 15 minutes on 1800 sq ft home. It does vacuum well on hardwood and luxury laminate flooring. Not worth the purchase and hype for me.

Great buy

I bought the vacuum in June 2025 and so far so good. Excellent filtration. Light weigh and easy to grip. Battery last quite a bit, my house is not big so it helps with it. I have no problems only compliments to give. Great purchase!

Even Better Attachments and Pet Hair Removal

This is to replace my old Dyson (which lasted a long time). This one has more and even better attachments for vacuuming fabric furniture and curtains. It is lightweight and very maneuverable.
