Comfy but too loose

I got the wool slip on clogs intending to wear them as house slippers. They're super comfy but also super wide, and my feet are on the wide side (though I do usually fit medium shoes). The area around the top of the foot was too loose for me to keep them on my feet so I'll be returning these. It's a pity though, they're almost right.

Ezra button wrap slip-on clog

I bought a pair last year, I like them so much I bought another pair. I walk a lot wearing them, they are so comfortable. I buy a 1/2 size up, I prefer to wear socks with this shoe.
