I ordered this ring for my now fiancé, and opted to have this ring shipped to the nearest Macy’s, which is a three hour drive. Upon receiving notification that my order was ready for pickup, I went to the designated area only to find the gift with purchase in the package. The ring was no where to be found. The clerk, Sharonda of Wolfchase Galleria, said we would need to leave and call customer service. After a manager called on our behalf, we were then able to get a refund in 7-10 business days (still hasn’t processed) and then were told we would have to open a Macys card to reorder. Thankfully, we were able to reorder it and it did arrive, but this whole mess could have easily been avoided. The ring itself is beautiful and accurate to the pictures, but stray far away from ordering Macy’s jewelry and if you do so anyways, make sure you ship it to the store. If we had shipped it to our home, we couldn’t have possibly gotten a refund. Be warned and beware of Macy’s predatory tactics.
