Soft leather but too bulky

The leather used in this coat is very soft and looks great. However, I didn’t like anything else about this — the epaulets and collar are too big and bulky looking, the belt is too thick, and the coat is heavy. I want something much lighter, and this was not it. I also feel that, though the coat is true to size, it is not flattering. I returned it. ALSO, I’m done buying third-party items from Macy’s, as the return credit DOES NOT come back to the buyer immediately. This business model is unacceptable! I bought the coat at Macy’s, used my Macy’s card, and returned it to Macy’s. Now I have to wait for my refund?! Nope. I’m done with third-party purchases, Macy’s!

Love the coat!

I love this coat. I am a fan of “real” leather so this coat has definitely satisfied that request. I love the softness of the leather and also the great fit. I like it enough to buy the burgundy one as well. The lining is also well made. All around a good purchase.

I treated myself

I am in love with the style and fit of this coat. I was looking for a dark brown color, but this is an excellent purchase if you are treating yourself.
